But 2.9s from 0-60 mph, a $420,000 BASE price, 4,000 lbs (don’t let that 3,500 lbs dry weight fool you), and with the same transmission leads me to state once again that the Huracan has killed this car off completely. Aventador successor can’t come soon enough, bring on the Raton!

Alternatively: if someone has that much to spend on a car, they probably don’t give a shit about how close it is performance-wise to a less expensive model, just that it’s faster than yours and more expensive than yours.

I know, it looks as badass now as the first time I saw the pre-facelift. I’d still go for it if I had the means. Forget the paper specs compared to the competition, this is a heart-string buy!

Yeah but when you park it next to a Huracan and you got them scissor doors and they’re stuck opening their normal doors like a peasant, you get that smug satisfaction that only 12 cylinders affords.

The average Aventador buyer doesn’t give a damn about weight or other boring stuff. Fitting 21" Forgiatos is probably more important.*

I’m actually not a fan of the facelift. Best modern Lambo will always be the LP-640.
